Some of you may already have found out about this, but it started with a couple of people finding a site and then going about finding a group of people interested in co housing in the area. They have had about 4 documented workshops coordinated by the architects Pollard Thomas Edwards – www.ptea.co.uk Tom Reynolds seems to be the key contact there. The site is owned by Hanover Housing Association who are described as the development partner. They are part of the UK cohousing network.
Featherstone Cohousing are a non profit company limited by guarantee. They mention finance sources that are useful – Triodos Bank, Ecology Building Society and Cooperative and Community Finance.
